Technological Advances in the War on Women's Cancer
Improved science and technology make personalized cancer care a reality. Dr. Julian Schink, Chief of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology and Associate Director for Clinical Affairs at the Lurie Cancer Center will be reviewing treatment strategies such as targeting chemotherapy and anti-cancer biologic treatments using gene assay testing and predictive laboratory tests. He will also discuss high definition optics and robotic surgery as ways to minimize the side effects of treatments.
