Oncofertility Consortium recognized in The Chronicle of Higher Education

In a new article in the Chronicle of Higher Education entitled, “As Budgets Tighten, Big Science Gets a New Opportunity to Make It’s Case,” the Oncofertility Consortium is recognized for it’s interdisciplinary approach to basic science, otherwise known as “team science”. As congress threatens to ban budgetary earmarks, universities are working to be more open to collaborations with industry, more flexible on granting faculty leave for outside projects, and better attuned to the needs of local economies.
