The Oncofertility Consortium is excited to host its second annual Fellow Education Day during the 2017 Oncofertility Conference! This day-long course will be held on November 14 and will consist of four traditional lectures and two team-based learning exercises. The purpose of this course is to educate fellows on fertility preservation and survivorship care for cancer patients across the reproductive life cycle. This course is primarily targeted towards first and second year fellows in the specialties of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Andrology and Male Infertility, as well as Pediatric and Adult Hematology/Oncology. Residents in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Urology, or Internal Medicine with a particular interest in oncofertility are also welcome to attend.
Like last year, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI) is sponsoring this initiative by providing travel awards of up to $5,000 to defray the costs of transportation, lodging, and meeting registration to the first 5-7 REI fellows to register (maximum reimbursement $1,000 per fellow). Fellows will be notified within 2-weeks of registration if they have received a travel award.
