The Disability Rights Legal Center is hosting a Cancer Rights Conference this Friday, June 18, on the many complex legal issues surrounding cancer. This day-long event will provide information about many topics, including employment and health insurance, for cancer patients. A 2 pm session will focus on subjects that are especially important to young adults with cancer. Shauna Gardino, a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Oncofertility Consortium, will discuss fertility issues and options for cancer patients.
The conference takes place at the Loyola University Chicago School of Law (25 E. Pearson St.) from 8:30 am until 5:30 pm.
