Co-founding organization, True North Treks in a nonprofit that provides free, week-long backpacking and canoeing treks in nature for young adults with cancer (ages 18-39) to help them "get back on track" after cancer treatment. Co-founding organization Surfrider Foundation-Chicago is a non-profit dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our lakes and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research, and education. Together, and with the support of Kayak Chicago, the Robert H. Lurie Cancer Center and Cerveza Pacifico Clara, we're thrilled to be having this 2nd annual event, from which all proceeds will benefit young adults with cancer.
