Free Support Group: “Starting a Family after Cancer”

Free support group for fertility preservation entitled "Starting a Family after Cancer,”  offering patients who are thinking about fertility after cancer an opportunity to learn about a wide range of options.  The support group offers expert speakers who can answer questions, and allow patients an opportunity to get to know others with similar challenges and concerns.

 

The “Starting a Family after Cancer” support group is a place where patients (men and women) and their partners and/or family members can come and discuss issues surrounding fertility and more importantly learn that they are not alone. It's currently open to all patients at Northwestern.

 

It's held at Prentice Women's Hospital, Suite 520 on the 1st Thursday of every month ( May 5th, June 2nd, July 7th, etc) from 9:30 - 10:30am.
