The State of Illinois will enable insurance coverage for fertility preservation/oncofertility patients through signature of House Bill 2617 by Governor Bruce Rauner on Monday, Aug 27, 2018 in the Prentice Women’s Hospital Harris Atrium. Patient Navigator, Kristin Smith, and Lead Advocates for the bill will talk about the importance of this bill for women of all socioeconomic statuses. In addition, oncofertility patient and lead spokesperson for the rights of women to reproductive health insurance, Megan Connolly, will also address the gathering. All OC advocates are welcome to attend the event which will begin at 2:30.
