The Huntington Reproductive Clinic in Brazil is hosting an event, called Pink October, for breast cancer patients, survivors, and the public on October 26, 2013 in one of Latin America’s largest city parks. The event in Ibirapuera Park will include activates such as massage, breast cancer awareness and fertility preservation education. The Brazilian Oncofertility Consortium will be represented by Dr. Maurício Barbour Chehin and the clinic which will include a team of doctors, nurses and psychologists, who will teach breast self examinations, discuss the importance of mammography, and communicate the possibility of fertility preservation for oncological patients.
