SASREG is privileged to host the ISGE & ESGE and together we are proud to present a gynaecological endoscopic congress of international calibre in Cape Town, South Africa. On behalf of the Local Organising Committee we extend a warm welcome to all of you from every part of the world.
This congress presents a great opportunity for African and International endoscopists to come to Cape Town and share ideas, teach skills and improve knowledge. Our aim is to bring talented and inspired people together at this forum and ensure that African gynaecologists remain at the cutting edge of endoscopic surgery and continue to provide minimally invasive therapies to our patients, the women of Africa.
I'd like to thank each of you for attending our congress and bringing your expertise to our gathering. You, as organisation leaders have the vision, knowledge, and the experience to help us pave our way into the future. You are truly our greatest asset today and tomorrow, and we could not accomplish what we do without your support and leadership. Throughout this congress, I ask you to stay engaged, keep us proactive and help us shape the future of endoscopy. My personal respect and thanks goes out to all of you.
The focus of the scientific programme will be on state of the art presentations in our field as well as new insights into basic science, clinical research and therapeutic interventions. The basic aim of the scientific programme will be to have continuous interaction between speakers and the audience.
There will be a specifc session dedicated to oncofertility in Africa on April 14 featuring Drs. Teresa K. Woodruff, Michael Grynberg, and Nao Suzuki. We look forward to seeing you all there!
