Dr. Virginia Kaklamani, Director of Translational Breast Cancer Research and Co-Director of the Cancer Genetics Program at the Lurie Cancer Center, will join other medical experts and inspirational women living with advanced breast cancer at "The Many Faces of Breast Cancer" on November 16, 2010.
The battle against breast cancer is rife with obstacles, but thanks to treatment advances, women with advanced or metastatic breast cancer are living with their disease. The Many Faces of Breast Cancer will provide information about support resources for women living with advanced breast cancer. An engaging panel will address treatment options, psychosocial support, nutrition and diet, symptom management, and the latest in breast cancer research.
