The event, “Fertility Preservation in Cancer Patients”, is a Pre-congress course, coordinated by Johan Smitz, MD PhD, Sergio Romero, PhD and Flor Sánchez, PhD, and is co-organised with the Peruvian Fertility Society. This will be held in Lima, Peru on October, 11th.
This educational conference will gather National and International specialists in Oncology and Reproductive Medicine/Biology to provide lectures about fertility preservation and will provide a platform for discussion and collaboration among oncologists, ART specialists, reproductive biologist, general gynaecological practitioners, nurses, psychologists, researchers, professionals and students.
This meeting will allow to provide and exchange knowledge about: the current status of cancer in Peru, the options available to preserve and restore fertility in patients undergoing cancer treatments and the importance of the research in this field, which aims to expand the options available to offer to cancer patients who desire to preserve their fertility.
