Fertility Associates of Memphis
A major focus for our practice is to provide fertility preservation for those diagnosed with cancer. We offer patients struggling with cancer all options medically possible for the preservation and optimization of future fertility. These tools include in vitro fertilization with egg and embryo freezing, sperm freezing, radiation field minimizing surgery, and ovarian tissue freezing. Because this is a central part of our practice, we have considerable experience in all aspects of these technologies and work with some of the most respected institutions in the country, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, to facilitate the best care for our patients.
Pediatric Fertility Preservation
As the functional Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility division for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, we facilitate a wide range of fertility preservation strategies for children suffering with a cancer diagnosis. Our physicians all hold academic appointments at St. Jude and we conduct an onsite clinic in this facility to facilitate maximal accessibility. From our long established sperm freezing program for boys to our cutting edge egg freezing protocols for girls, we are helping children throughout our region and the world preserve hope for having family after cancer is a distant memory.
Adult Fertility Preservation
For the past several decades, Fertility Associates of Memphis has set the standard in the Mid-South region for offering the best available fertility preservation options for women and men with a cancer diagnosis. With the perfection and increased utilization of our egg freezing protocols, women with cancer are now routinely offered IVF with egg or embryo freezing prior to the initiation of chemotherapy or radiation, even in the setting of estrogen/progesterone positive breast cancer.
