Akron Children’s Hospital

We treat pediatric cancers and blood disorders.  We offer bone marrow transplant when needed as well. We have recently started a Fertility Preservation Program.  We currently work with a local Reproductive Gynecology/Infertility group to provide sperm banking and egg harvesting options.  We are working on incorporating testicular tissue preservation as an option as well. We have a local group, the Stephen Communale fund, that provides financial assistance for AYA for fertility preservation.
