The clinic was formed in 2015 worried about the needs in Mexico of clinical and medical oncologists specializing in the field of urology. We are a multidisciplinary group formed by uro-oncology specialist (Medical oncologists, Urological Surgeon, Radiation oncologist), and support specialist (fertility, palliative care, nutrition, psychologist, physical medicine and rehabilitation). Our activities consist mostly clinical and research and we've interest in tumors of the prostate, testis, kidney, and bladder. Some of our patients are young adult and are in risk of infertility as a consequence of the surgical, radiotherapeutic, and chemotherapeutic treatments used to cure them of their cancer. It is important that the effect of cancer treatment on fertility is discussed before treatment starts and that good information about options for fertility preservation are readily available to young adults so that they can make informed choices. Every patient in our clinic is refer to a reproductive specialists (part of our group), who assist them in choosing fertility preservation options.
