Founded in 2002, Fertility Answers strives to provide exemplary reproductive endocrinology and infertility services to the Gulf Coast region since inception. To that end, a cornerstone of care involves ensuring future childbearing options for patients whose fertility may be compromised by cancer therapy. Our clinic offers consultations to patients with new or prior cancer diagnoses in an effort to educate and empower them with the knowledge they need to make the choices that fit their life's goals. As cancer treatments are becoming more effective and survivorship is increasing rapidly, more and more people move on from cancer to lead a healthy life. Our mission at Fertility Answers is to make sure that family building goals are included in the opportunities afforded to them. Specifically, we offer emergency egg and embryo cryopreservation, preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy or inheritable disorders, sperm cryopreservation, fertility protection medications and services, and post treatment monitoring all in an efficient and streamlined consultation process that has minimal interference to cancer treatment and no detrimental effects to overall prognosis. Additionally, we feel that interdisciplinary care is integral to the best possible outcomes, and therefore we make every effort to ensure excellent communication among provider teams for our patients to bridge all aspects of their care. We feel this promotes understanding and advocacy for the patient and significantly decreases any risk of regret that is seen in cancer survivors that are not offered these services. Thankfully, surviving cancer is becoming the rule rather than the exception, and these patients deserve to fight through this terrible affliction, coming out on the other side with the opportunity to live their lives to the fullest capacity.
