GENESIS - Center for Assistance in Human Reproduction, in Brasília, DF, began operations in November, 1992, and opened its laboratory of assisted reproduction in April, 1996. Since then, its multidisciplinary team has been providing assistance grounded in what is the most modern and safe in reproductive technology, guided by scientific evidence. Continuous improvement of knowledge and technical apparatus, and the care of individual approach to the infertile patient are permanent goals. Fertility preservation for cancer and non-cancer patients is conducted by the whole team, and the oncofertility activities are now coordinated by Dr. Adelino Amaral Silva, MD.
