The Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) at the University of Utah is a National Cancer Institute–Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center serving the Mountain West region. Within HCI, the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Cancer Program provides age-appropriate, comprehensive support for patients ages 15–39, including dedicated AYA cancer and oncofertility navigation. Our team facilitates timely fertility preservation counseling through three disease-specific, integrated clinics and coordinates access to reproductive specialists within the University of Utah’s Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) program. As Navigators, we also assist patients in overcoming financial and logistical barriers to care. We are actively engaged in advocacy efforts to improve fertility preservation outcomes for cancer patients and survivors across our region.
