Regional Fertility Program

The Regional Fertility Program is located in Calgary, AB. Dr. Shu Foong , MD, FRCSC is the Medical Director of the Regional Fertility Program and has been the active director of the Oncofertility program since 2006. Dr. Foong is the primary contact person for the program. Dr. Foong and his colleagues have started exploring ovarian tissue freezing first in animal models through collaboration with scientists from the Vet school at the University of Calgary. In addition, they have actively been working on patient decision aids nationally this past year.
