University Hospital of Wales-Wales Fertility Institute

Our centre is NHS based at the University Hospital. It comprises of 3 units in different locations covering South Wales. It is the only provider for NHS treatments in South Wales. It also provides self funding treatments. The oncofertility programme for women started in 2008 and for men almost 30 years ago. In 2018 we have started a close collaboration with the teenager cancer unit and the haematology department. As a result  the oncofertility working group was established. We meet every 6 months to discuss and develop patinets pathways and research ideas. We are involved in guidelines developing in collaboration with the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
