Vitalab is a Johannesburg based fertility clinic that has been committed to helping couples build families since 1984. We have pioneered a wholesome approach to fertility by supporting our patients medically, physically and emotionally. Our doctors are registered reproductive specialists with the South African Medical and Dental Council, with a collective experience of over 150 years. We are also the first fertility clinic in Africa to have receive the converted ISO 15189 accreditation, which demonstrates our facility meets the high standards of quality, performance and technical expertise. We are also the first fertility clinic in Africa to have an egg bank, used for oocyte donation cycles and fertility preservation . Although we have assisted some oncofertility patients in mainly oocyte freezing, we have realized the concept of fertility preservation have been neglected, mainly due to a lack of awareness amongst the medical fraternity.
