Dr. Min Xu, MD, a member of the Oncofertility Consortium, was honored by the Women Faculty Organization at Northwestern University on April 8, 2010 for outstanding research on Women’s Health. Dr. Xu’s presentation, entitled “In vitro oocyte maturation and preantral follicle growth from luteal phase baboon ovary produce mature and fertilizable eggs.” discusses research that has been critical to the Oncofertility Consortium’s work on preserving fertility for patients with cancer.
