New publication by Oncofertility Consortium members Sarah Rodriguez, PhD and Lisa Campo-Engelstein, PhD: Conceiving Wholeness: Women, Motherhood, and Ovarian Transplantation, 1902-2004

Sara Rodriguez, PhD and Lisa Campo Engelstein, PhD explore the idea of wholeness in relation to ovarian transplantation. Historically, scholars have focused on the idea of the recipient taking on the donors identity; however through case studies, the authors argue that ovarian transplantation can actually engender a sense of wholeness by enabling a woman to naturally conceive and carry a child.
