Oncofertility researchers Clarisa Gracia, Sanghoon Lee, Christopher Morse, and Jennifer Mersereau published a new article in Fertility and Sterility detailing the results of a study performed over five years. These researchers evaluated predictors of undergoing fertility preservation treatment (FPT) in 108 women with breast cancer between 2005-2010 and 77 women with breast cancer who did not have FPT. First author, Ja Yeon Kim, MD, is a trainee with the Oncofertility Consortium and began her work in June 2010, with Jennifer Mersereau, MD. She will continue to work with Consortium members throughout this year as we “train the next generation” of oncofertility specialists!
