Members of the Junior Oncofertility Saturday Academy (JOSA) were paired with mentors at the annual Illinois Women’s Health Conference. Healthcare professionals accompanied the students throughout the day’s workshops, teaching JOSA students about their options for a future in healthcare. Students were exposed to a variety of different healthcare career options, encouraged to ask questions and to actively take part in discussions about issues relating to women’s health.
