Teresa K. Woodruff and the Women’s Health Science Program at Northwestern University Are Recognized in Congress

Oncofertility Consortium Founder and Director, Teresa K. Woodruff and the Women’s Health Science Program for High School Girls at Northwestern University were recognized in Congress by Representative Janice Schakowsky on Monday, December 12th, for their outstanding work providing opportunities for girls and women to improve the community and world. The Women’s Health Science Program, developed by the Institute for Women’s Health Research and overseen by Dr. Woodruff, was bestowed the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring by President Obama at the White House.  Read our blog to learn more about this prestigious award!
